News
The face-to-face Super-Kamiokande collaboration meeting was held in Toyama, Japan, from May 31 to June 2, 2023. The Super-Kamiokande collaboration meeting has been held twice a year, bringing together collaborators for discussions. The meeting was conducted online during Covid-19, but this time it was held in person for the first time in four years.
Approximately 100 collaborators participated at the venue in Toyama, where they presented and discussed the current status of the detector and the results of data analysis.
Professor Masayuki Nakahata, the spokesperson of Super-Kamiokande, commented, “I encountered many familiar faces and hard-working young researchers whom I usually interact with online. It reminded me once again that in-person discussions enable us to delve deeper into our topics.”
