Organization overview
The Hyper-Kamiokande project is the world-leading international scientific research project hosted by the University of Tokyo and High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) in Japan.
Hyper-Kamiokande International Collaboration
As an international research center for world-class researchers, researchers from many different countries around the world have joined the Hyper-Kamiokande to realize.
As of October 2025, about 650 researchers from 23 countries have participated in the experiment: Armenia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, the United States and Vietnam.
The Hyper-Kamiokande Project has established a formal International Collaboration Researcher Group with the approval of the Japanese government. The Researcher Group has the following governing bodies;
