From JR Toyama Station

Train and Bus
Take the JR Takayama Line train and get off at “Inotani (猪谷)”. It takes about 50 minutes or 35 minutes by a limited express “Tokkyuu-Hida”(特急ひだ). From Inotani Station bus stop, take a 10-minutes bus ride to “Mozumi” bus stop.

From Toyama Airport

Take a bus to JR Toyama Station. Then see above from Toyama Station.

Around Kamioka Observatory

Bus Timetable

  • Effective October 1, 2025, weekday bus services between Inotani Station and Mozumi have been reduced, and weekend and holiday services have been discontinued. Additionally, the Toyama Chitetsu bus service between Sasazu and Inotani has been discontinued.
  • Effective October 1, 2025, bus service between Inotani Station and Mozumi will not operate on weekends, national holidays, and from December 31 to January 3.
  • Please make sure to check the latest information using Google Maps route search, Japan Transit Planner, or other similar services.

North-Kamioka On-Demand Taxi

  • The on-demand taxi (capacity: 6 persons) operates only one trip each in the morning and evening on weekdays, departing from and arriving at Inotani Station (please use buses or other transportation during other times).
  • Reservations must be made by 15:00 two business days before the date of travel through the following form.
