| # pulses per fire | The number of times the ion source is accelerated against the target when the DT is fired. The number of neutrons produced is proportional to the number of pulses |

| # fires per run | The number of times the DT is fired in a given run. The actual number in a given run may be different because of problems during the run, or because of tests. |
| pull-back distance | Distance DT generator is pulled back after firing. |
| data collection time | # seconds data is collected after veto is released. |

| vertex position | Nominal position of the DT generator |
| data quality | Is the data in a given run good, questionable, bad? |
