North of Osawano is another station, called Yatsuo. To get a ride to Mozumi, you have to take the Takayama Line train (Toyama <--> Takayama and beyond) at Osawano and change trains at Inotani (approx. 12 km south of Osawano, 2nd station) to the Kamioka train. The second station of this train then is Mozumi. Bus numbers 30 and 41. 41 seems to be sort of an express bus since it skips almost every other bus stop. So, check first which station in Osawano it actually stops. Near the UCI apartments take the bus stop near the park somewhere between the Espoa liquor store and the Tick-Tack grocery store (close to the pedestrian overpass over route 41). One trip costs 890 Yen (much more than train!!). Taking the bus from/to Osawano to/from Inotani (stop # 27) only costs 660 Yen. And from/to Inotani to/from Mozumi only costs 380 Yen. Hint how to pay: When entering the bus at the rear door, take a ticket from the orange box next to the door. The number on the ticket represents the bus stop number. On the left handside of the drivers seat is a large display box with 40 numbered fields, one of them representing your bus stop and the price you have to pay if you would leave the bus at the following stop. This display is updaing constantly after leaving each new stop, so your number is increasing, too (non-linearily though). The fare system at the small local trains works exactly the same way, since some train stations don't have a ticket machine and there's mostly only a driver and no conductor on the train.
