Hida Space Science Museum KamiokaLab will open on March 27th, 2019

Hida Space Science Museum KamiokaLab will open at the roadside station, “Sky Dome Kamioka” in Kamioka-cho, Hida-city, Gifu. It will show visitors the world’s leading research conducted at Kamioka, for example, Super-Kamiokande.

The museum was built by Hida-city so that people can see and experience the world of astrophysics experiments, such as Super-Kamiokande, KamLAND and KAGRA at any time.

ICRR, the University of Tokyo and Tohoku University worked together as supervisors. It is difficult to invite many visitors to our laboratories, so we would be happy if both adults and children enjoy this museum.

The English website for KamiokaLab will open on March 27th.
